WOMEN’S PRAYER LUNCH:  All women are invited to bring their lunch, journal and pen and meet us for prayer in room ADM-137 on Tuesday, March 5 from 12 - 1 PM. This prayer lunch meets the first Tuesday of each month.

EASTER DOOR HANGER EVENT: Join us on Sunday, March 17, at 1:30 PM to use prayer-walking and door-hanger invitations to invite households in the neighborhood around the church to our Easter Sunday services. If mobility issues make walking impossible, you are welcome to remain at the church for a time of focused prayer for reaching our neighbors with the gospel this Easter. We will also have invitations available for you to use to personally invite your family and friends.

EASTER CHOIR: Easter Sunday, March 31, will be a momentous day for our church family, and we need you to join the resurrection celebration in our Easter choir! It’s okay if you haven’t sung in a choir before. You can listen to all the music on YOUR schedule - whenever it’s convenient for you - as many times as you want. Then, join us for a couple of rehearsals on Sunday, March 24, and Wednesday, March 27. You’ll be all set to sing with us on Easter Sunday, March 31. To let us know that you want to participate, fill out a Next Steps card - either in person or online - and write “Easter Choir” in the comments. We’ll get in touch with you and get you all the resources you need.

PRAY FOR LIBERIA MISSION TRIP: Keep the women who are on a two-week mission trip to Liberia in your prayers. Three of those women are from our church - Linda Thornsberry, Martha Griffin, and Denea Bagherian. They are conducting 10 workshops in three different locations helping girls and young women.

LENT BOOKLETS: Pick up “The Gospel of Grace” booklet at the Next Steps table and join us through daily readings that cover the Gospel of Luke between now and Easter. Dr. Blake’s daily email devotions - “Refresh” - will reinforce each day’s reading. You can sign up for those here.

WE’RE HIRING! First Baptist is looking for a motivated and dependable person to fill the position of Custodian and Maintenance Assistant. This 30 hour/week position would begin in mid-March and includes a variety of duties for keeping the facility clean as well as assisting in light maintenance and grounds care under supervision. If you or someone you know might be interested in this position, please contact Karen Sherman by email.
