GriefShare

September 11, 2024

Through GriefShare, you’ll receive valuable guidance and tips, leading you to relief, comfort, and peace of mind as you work through the grief of losing a loved one. This grief recovery support group will meet on Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30 AM in room ADM-139 starting September 11 through December 4. The cost is $20 for a workbook, and you will need to sign up on the GriefShare website or click here.

Women's Fall Bible Study

September 17, 2024

The fall Bible study will meet on Tuesdays, September 17 - November 19, 10-11:30 AM or 7-8:30 PM in the Chapel. The facilitators will be Sharon Byers and Karen Hartig for the study “Slaying the Giants in Your Life” by Dr. David Jeremiah. What are the giants you face in your life? Worry, anger, doubt, jealousy just to name a few? Dr. Jeremiah helps us defeat them through scripture so that we can walk in victory as we follow Jesus. The cost of a study book is $8.50 and you can sign up HERE. Childcare will be provided on request.

Oktoberfest

September 27-28, 2024

Downtown Lee's Summit will celebrate Oktoberfest on September 27-28. Hundreds of people from the community will be passing by our church, so we want to use this weekend to share the love of Christ in a tangible way. There are two ways to get involved:
1. Free Parking & Water: As Oktoberfest attendees use our lot for free parking, help by greeting them with a smiling face and a bottle of water. Sign up for a time slot at the Next Steps table on Sunday morning.
2. Hello Fall: We will have free fall games, activities, and coffee for families attending Octoberfest on Saturday, September 28 from 10 AM to noon in the small south parking lot by Elevate 114 apartments. Sign up to help HERE!
