Listen to the Word

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?... No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."  (Romans 8:35,37)

We don't need to settle for being victims in life. Our Scripture says we are more than conquerors.

So often, we lose the battle in our minds before it ever gets fought in the world. We are defeated before we begin. "Nothing ever goes right for me... I can't do this... My marriage is always going to be pathetic, and my spouse is always going to be a jerk... I will never be able to forgive." This is victim thinking. And if you are a follower of Christ, you are not a victim. You may have suffered, you may have been victimized, but you are not a victim. You are an overcomer. You are more than a conqueror through the strength of Christ's love.

Commit Romans 8:37 to memory.
