Listen to the Word
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?... No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. (Romans 8:35,37)

Our Scripture was written by a unique guy named Paul. Paul could gain consciousness facedown in a cold prison, just beaten within an inch of his life, separated from the people he cares about, sidetracked from his mission. He would rub his head and honestly say, "Christ is still holding on to me. It's a good day." He was the kind of guy who could get arrested and put on a boat bound for Rome. When that boat was destroyed and he washed up on some Gilligan's island in the Mediterranean and was bitten by a poisonous viper, he would evaluate it all and say, "Life is good. Christ is still holding on to me."

Christ is still holding on to you. He won't ever stop loving you. That is the most basic truth about you, and the key to your identity. And nothing can change that. Nothing can separate you from his love.

Live the Word
Ask God to give you the courage to face today's biggest challenge, confident that it is powerless against his love.
