Listen to the Word
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters. (Colossians 3:23)

This week we will look at some Scriptures that show us how we can honor God with our work. Colossians 3:23 gives some great foundational advice: work as if Jesus were your boss.

If Jesus were your immediate supervisor, what would you do differently? What would change about your approach to the work you do? The Scripture says that whether your work takes place in an office or in a pasture, in the classroom or in the laundry room, you should work as you would if Jesus were your boss. Do the kind of work that would be pleasing to him, do it with an attitude that honors him, and do it for him.

Live the Word
Write down Colossians 3:23 and post it somewhere that you can see it while you work this week. Let it be a reminder that Jesus is your real boss.
