Listen to the Word

Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for people.  (Psalm 107:8)

What are some of God’s wonderful deeds for which you can give him thanks today? 

God, I thank you for speaking our amazing universe into existence. I thank you for parting the sea to bring your people out of slavery. I thank you for sending your Son to show me how to live, and to die for me and conquer death for me. 

I thank you, Lord, for welcoming home a prodigal like me. I thank you for blessing me with my wonderful family. I thank you for providing me with shoes for my feet, and feet for my shoes. I thank you for inventing music, and hugs, and the ingredients of pecan pie. I thank you for painting the sky such a breathtaking color of blue. You are amazing, God - thank you for all of your wonderful deeds!
