Listen to the Word
I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more. (Isaiah 43:25)
Did you know that the Bible says there is something God doesn’t know about you? Of course, God knows quite a lot about you. He knows your name; the Bible even says he has it written on his hand. He knows when you sit and when you rise, when you go out and when you lie down. He knows your words before you speak them. He knows the number of hairs on your head. He knows the plans he has for you. But there is one thing he doesn’t know. I’m sure that sounds like blasphemy. But take a look at today’s Scripture.
God doesn’t remember your sins. What an amazing statement! That is the one thing about you that the all-knowing God refuses to know. He doesn’t remember your mistakes. God is graciously forgetful.
Live the Word
Write down Isaiah 43:25 and put it somewhere that you will see it often. Commit it to memory before the end of the week.
