How priceless is your unfailing love! (Psalm 36:7)

This week we will celebrate the wonder of the priceless love of God.

The word translated “unfailing love” in Psalm 36:7 is the Hebrew word hesed. If you try to say it out loud, you will know you are saying it right if you get a little spit on your computer screen. Hesed is one of the richest words in the Bible, and it is tough to capture its full meaning in English. It is mercy, unconditional love, undeserved favor and help. It is relentless devotion, loyal love, steadfast commitment. It is love based on covenant, not on convenience.

That is how God loves you - with a love you couldn’t earn and you can’t shake. How priceless is his unfailing love!
