Listen to the Word

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.   (Matthew 17:20)

Is there something you are struggling with these days? Do you have a problem that is too much for you? A responsibility that is too big to handle, or a hurt that is stronger than all of your strength? Do you feel like you are trying to move forward in life, but there is a mountain in the way?

Jesus has some good news for you this week! Our Scripture for the week begins with Jesus saying, “Truly I tell you,” which was his way of telling us to stop everything and listen and listen good. And what he wants us to hear is an announcement that our resources are greater than we realize, and that what appears to be an insurmountable obstacle in our paths is in fact quite surmountable! Nothing is impossible for God. So when we trust him enough to attach ourselves to him, nothing will be impossible for us.
