Listen to the Word
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. (James 1:5)

When you need wisdom, you aren’t going to find it in a textbook. You won’t get there with a Google search. Siri and Alexa, as smart as they are, are not your best source.

If you lack wisdom, ask God. He has an abundant supply of it. And he loves to give it. He won’t nitpick or find fault with you – he will just give.

Try him on this. What do you have to lose? Admit to him that your wisdom tank is not exactly overflowing, and ask him to give you the wisdom you need for the challenges of life.

Live the Word
Ask God to form in you the habit of turning to him for wisdom in all circumstances. Practice that new habit by seeking his help with a decision you are facing today.
