Listen to the Word
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. (2 Corinthians 5:20)

You are Christ’s ambassador to your workplace. Whether your assignment is high finance or heavy labor, hitting the books or doing diapers and dishes, your workplace is a mission field. It is where God has placed you and given you the opportunity to rub shoulders with people who need to experience his love. Whatever your title may be, item number one on your job description is helping others connect with God.

You are God’s best shot for reaching some of the folks you touch through your work. If God’s light is going to shine in your workplace, if his truth is going to be spoken, if his love is going to break through, if his hope is going to be felt, it is up to you. You are Christ’s ambassador at work.
